Re:SOURCE – An Embodied Immersion In Care And Remembering
‘This is your body, your greatest gift, pregnant with wisdom you do not hear, grief you thought was forgotten, and joy you have never known’
-Marion Woodman
We are living in a time of great transition, of intersecting social and ecological crises.
As a result, many of us are grappling with personal and collective grief, relational ruptures, feelings of powerlessness and instability of all kinds. This level of threat, real and/or perceived, pays a toll on our bodies, hearts and minds.
Despite our best efforts to manage stress we may notice ourselves pendulating between high activation and deep exhaustion. Under these conditions, it can be difficult to slow down and notice what needs our holding and attention, our care and remembering.
Re:SOURCE is an immersive, in-person program to help you develop supportive tools and practices to anchor and sustain you through these changing times. With an emphasis on slowing down, and cultivating embodied awareness, this three-month journey is an invitation to catch up with yourself.
Together, we will grow our understanding of what it means to be human at this moment in time. As a group, we will explore the autonomic nervous system, yoga and somatic movements, breathwork, monthly workshops, inquiry, creative practices (writing and art), ritual, conversation and deep rest. In addition to the group practices, participants will meet monthly for a 1:1 integration session.
Designed as a seasonal container, Re:SOURCE will hold you sweetly through the dark Winter months and midwife you into the expansiveness of Spring.
This program is an embodied exploration of your capacity for resilience, your deep knowing, and innate power. By growing our capacity to hold that which is difficult, we also expand our capacity to hold that which brings us joy and delight. Re:SOURCE invites you into the important work of the heart, practices to sustain and support, so that we can continue to show up for the liberatory work of these times.
A GLOSSARY: For Contemplation and Clarity
/Re:SOURCE / this is a language reframe for you and I.
Resource is a term I initially found vague and dry. I associated the word with extraction or bibliographies. But what is truly meant by Source?
We might say Source energy is that which animates us, lights us up, comforts and connects us to ourselves and life itself. Source energy speaks to that which is illuminating, so by ReSourcing we are practicing coming back to our own personal experience with our essence, our sense of aliveness.
When we can acknowledge and return to what personally resources us, we have greater access to connection and safety in our nervous systems. This ability to locate and feel safe in our bodies is an important practice not only for ourselves but for others as well.
/Embodied/ to be embodied means that we can remain present, that we can sense and feel our way through life experiences, and particularly through the difficulties.
To be embodied means that we can listen to and integrate information from all three centers of intelligence: the body center (sensing), the heart center (feeling) and the head center (cognition). There are of course many other ways we can view embodiment through cultural, societal, environmental and systemic lenses and these will be touched on in conversation and inquiry.
/Immersion/ Immersion speaks to a certain level of commitment, an all in feeling, a devotion to learning, like becoming proficient in a new language by placing yourself in a foreign land. To be immersed means to be deeply engaged and involved. Immersion like the entire body slipping into a bathtub, surrounded by water, held, buoyant, here. In the end, I chose the word immersion because I can feel this word in my body, maybe you can too?
/Care/ what does it mean to truly care? I used to think of this word as somewhat benign, but with time have come to work with this term in a contemplative way. How do we care not out of obligation or guilt, but out of a deep desire to accompany? Care like attending to, care in the context of relationship, to self, other and the natural world. Care in learning to befriend all parts of ourselves, to become increasingly inclusive. To me, there is both an invitation and a softness embedded in the word care.
/Remembering/ In a world saturated with information and a frantic forward momentum for more more more, the word remembering feels like a sort of antidote. In my experience so much of the medicine we need is already here, it’s simply that we have forgotten. To be human is to be in a perpetual dance of forgetting and remembering. When we slow down and listen, we can move a little closer to the wisdom and trust waiting to be accessed.
‘There is such urgency in the multitude of crises we face, it can make it hard to remember that in fact it is the urgency thinking (urgent constant unsustainable growth) that got us to this point, and that our potential success lies in doing deep, slow, intentional work’

Why in person and not online?
Gathering and facilitating group learning is a lifelong passion of mine, and this immersion reflects my commitment to working in this intimate way. I believe that being in a group container can offer us so much information about connection and relationship, belonging and safety.
There’s lots of good reasons to gather together: healing doesn’t happen in isolation, we are social animals, wired for connection. In short, we need each other. I know this to be true for myself and have witnessed first hand the alchemy of group connection. The opportunity to gather once again in the The Doghouse after a long hiatus feels like a welcomed homecoming. May you feel welcomed here too.

Class and Workshop Descriptions
Embodied Practices Classes (2 hours): This spacious bi-weekly class is designed to help you arrive in the present moment with curiosity and compassion. Through a led practice, you will be guided to track and integrate the three centers of the body: belly-heart-head. Working with yoga and somatic movements, participants are guided into an embodied experience rather than performing or achieving particular shapes. In this way, there is lots of room to modify for personal needs and abilities. Each class may also include simple breathwork, restorative/yin postures, poetry readings, meditation, inquiry work and plenty of time for deep rest. Classes will be woven with a theme, and themes will build cumulatively through the weeks. Please come as you are. Wear whatever makes you feel comfortable. All of you is welcome here.
Re:SOURCE Traversing the landscape of the Nervous System, finding home in the body
In this first of three workshops, we will learn the basics of Polyvagal theory to understand different states of the autonomic nervous system. We will learn to slow down, to pause, and notice. We will explore in an experiential way, so that participants develop their own personalized understanding of the material: creating a glossary of language, imagery and feeling. We will also explore the concept of triggers and glimmers, building self-awareness to map our way home to embodied safety and connection.
Re:IMAGINE A Celebration of our Multiplicity
In this second of three workshops, participants will explore the human experience, through the lens of multiplicity (parts work). An introductory talk will outline Internal Family Systems introducing the concept of parts: protectors, exiles, and Self.
Rather than self-pathologizing, the emphasis of this learning is to cultivate more trust in our systems, to build inclusive relationship with our parts, to cultivate greater compassion, curiosity, clarity and creativity. Together we will explore this modality through conversation, writing inquiry and collage.
Re:MEMBER The three centers of intelligence through the lens of the Enneagram
In this final workshop participants will be introduced to the map of the Enneagram, a nuanced and extensive tool for recognizing our strategies and patterns. This pyscho-spiritual map introduces personality as a set of adaptive coping mechanisms and behaviours that are in service of returning us to our Essence, our essential nature. That being said, our behaviours can also keep us stuck; by offering presence to our tendencies, we can work to liberate ourselves from the limiting nature of our personality structure.
Special attention will be given to the three centers of intelligence, to integrate this material into the body. The intention in this workshop is to learn the map in it’s entirety as a tool for compassion and as a way to navigate towards greater integrity and authentic expression.
Who am I and what do I bring to this offering?
My name is Toni Dunne (she/her). I am a third-generation settler on Turtle Island, of Irish Latvian descent (paternal side) and British descent (maternal side).
I am in the professional realms an enthusiastic entrepreneur, Relational Somatic Therapist, yoga teacher, group work facilitator, burgeoning poet, landscaper, inspired gardener and lifelong student. I have been facilitating and working with groups and individuals for 15 years, and it continues to be my passion and joy.
In the day to day realms, I am a mother, daughter, sister, a devoted friend and community member, daydreamer, kitchen witch, amateur astrologer, clown, thrift inspired fashionista, social activist, change maker and recovering extrovert.
My life and work practices are informed and inspired by current research on the nervous system and developmental attachment theory, interpersonal neurobiology, IFS (Internal Family Systems), Compassionate Inquiry (CI), cycles and seasons, poetry, the natural world, social justice, dancing, the teachings of the Enneagram, love, mystery and magic.
I am a self identified somonaut, an explorer of inner space — forever fascinated by the body as a vehicle for experience and story. I believe in the inherent wisdom of the body, that pleasure is a birthright, that humor is an essential ingredient to life. I am also deeply devoted to shadow work, my own, and helping others to shine the light of awareness on their exiled parts.
My desire is to accompany others as they learn to stretch, accept and hold the difficulties and challenges that mark our lives. I also feel it necessary to celebrate the triumphs, however small, along the way.

Testimonials
The re:SOURCE program provided me the perfect balance of emotional inquiry and physical release within a small, safe group of likeminded individuals.
Toni brings years of personal experience, practice, and professional training to her classes. She leads with a gentleness and playfulness of spirit that both puts her students at ease and facilitates a feeling of openness and curiosity.
The workshop sessions were informative and interesting, the somatic classes were relaxing and invigorating, and the 1:1 sessions were revelatory. I would recommend this program to anyone who is yearning for a deeper feeling of embodiment and understanding of their emotional and behavioral patterns.

I have had the pleasure of sitting with Toni and experiencing her gentle and caring approach. She creates the safest container to process and move through emotional stagnation that has kept me stuck for many years. I have found my sessions with Toni to be incredibly affective in my healing journey and returning to myself. I am so grateful for her offering and her spirit.
-K.P.
Toni is skillful in creating a safe container for me to sit with my inner landscape. I deeply appreciate her presence in guiding and mapping what arises. Lovingly excavating forgotten, tender parts and understanding how and why my early adaptive strategies no longer need to be engaged has been life changing. I appreciate her guidance as we implement tools for me to return to my good good body, through breath, somatic listening, inviting me out of thinking mind and into heart center. I am grateful for her support as i walk through the mud and magic that is found upon my healing journey.

FAQ
What if I can’t make all the events?
It’s recommended but not required that you attend all the scheduled events to register for this program.
I highly recommend prioritizing the workshops where the bulk of the psycho-education will happen. However, if a workshop is missed, notes and handouts will be available, and we can also do a condensed review in scheduled 1:1 sessions.
I have also added a Bonus 7th Embodied Practices Class the first week of April, to account for inevitable sicknesses and unexpected life happenings
If you have specific concerns or questions about the schedule, please email me and/or we can discuss this in our Introductory Call.
Do you offer payment plans?
Yes. I require a non-refundable $150 deposit to register.
If you opt to pay for the course in installments, you will be invoiced for the remaining amount on the first of each month (Jan, Feb, March).
Do you offer refunds?
A non-refundable $150 deposit is required for registration.
Partial refund (minus the $150) will be given prior to January 8th. No refunds will be offered after January 8th
What do I need to bring?
I ask that you come as you are. Wear your most comfortable clothes, this is not a fashion show. I recommend layers as the studio is wood heated and temperatures can fluctuate through the winter months.
Please also bring a yoga mat, journal and pen (for note taking, and inquiry work), and water bottle. I will provide tea for evening classes, and snacks for workshops (yeah chocolate!). Workshops will have a short, scheduled lunch break, please bring a lunch.
